Senior Network Engineer (m/f/d)

For our Big Data & Cyber Security division we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our team at the Vevey location as soon as possible.

Your new challenges:

• Responsibility for the conception, further development and design of networks
• Extension, operation, monitoring as well as troubleshooting and remediation in the national network infrastructure
• Active support in projects in the national network environment, especially in the creation and implementation ofconcepts and fine specifications based on customer requirements
• Organization and implementation of operational and integration processes based on the specified ITIL methodology
• Creation and maintenance of all documents required for proper operation

What makes you:

• Successfully completed studies in (business) computer science, electrical or communications engineering orcomparable professional experience
• Experience in the operation and organization of medium to large networks as well as in the areas of automation andnetwork security
• Knowledge in the following areas:Routing, e.g. OSPF/VRFTunneling, e.g. VPNSwitching VLAN, Trunking, Link Aggregation, AutonegotiationNetwork protocols like (DNS, NFS, CIFS, DFS, LDAP, Kerberos, TLS, SNMP, SMTP, SSH, NTP, DHCP, HTTP) good PKI knowledge (CAs, certificates, CRLs, ...)MPLS knowledge a plus (LDP, RSVP, VRF, VRF lite, ...)AD integration a plus (NPS, Radius, ..)Security knowledge (zoning, firewalls, proxies, ..) and tools (Nesus).VPN (IPsec, IKEv2)Experience in network support (wireshark, nmap, netstat, ..).
• Experience in automating network tasks with scripts and/or APIs is desired.
• Conceptual and analytical thinking skills, flexibility, and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-pacedenvironment
• You have in-depth IP knowledge and can demonstrate appropriate certifications
• You have in-depth Cisco, Check Point and firewall knowledge
• Since the customers and projects are in sensitive, government environments, you meet the requirements to pass thepersonal security exam, such as Swiss citizenship or settlement permit C
• You have a good command of written and spoken German and can additionally communicate very well in English
